Honey Whipped Frozen Yogurt

So it’s not technically ice cream…but it’s close enough! Finishing off #IceCreamWeek with a simple recipe for making Homemade Honey Whipped Frozen Yogurt—topped with sugar-toasted rolled oats! Hope you enjoy.

Generously salt a bowl of ice (5-6 cups)…

  …and top with secondary bowl.

 Add 3 cups of greek frozen yogurt…

…1/2 cup of honey…

…and 1/2 cup of whole milk to the secondary bowl.

Whisk for 5 minutes.

Place in freezer to set up for 2 hours.

Whisk every 10-15 minutes to ensure frozen yogurt freezes and blends evenly.

OPTIONAL TOPPING: Add 1/4 cup brown sugar…

…1 cup rolled oats…

…and a pinch of salt to a pan on medium heat.

Toast oats for 10 minutes, stirring consistently.

Remove from heat.

 Use a piping bag to serve the froyo in its traditional swirly way.
